Hey everyone....

Just a quick email to let everyone know that doesn’t already that the Macmillan order forms are out. If you haven’t received one yet please see either myself
of Kevin to get one. Any cheques need to be made out to me Steph Brown as I will have to write one big cheque when the order arrives. I need all orders and
money to be turned in by Monday November 21st and the delivery date is Tuesday December 6th. As discussed at the first meeting you will be fundraising for
your own child/children....so what you put into it is what you will get out of it!!! I would like to have a meeting this Thursday Oct 13th at Tim Hortons at 5:30 pm
to talk about the Vendor Day so we know exactly where we are at with this and what else needs to be done. Please let me know if you can be there. Any
other ideas on fundraiser are welcome.

Sorry for the short email notice. I have just completed updating our email database for this season.
As Laurie has advised those of you she has seen recently there will be a meeting this Thursday, September 29th at 6:30pm to discuss this years
competitions, dates, locations, and any fundraising ideas for this season.
If you are unable to attend this meeting please advise Laurie so she can make arrangements to meet with you later to go over what was discussed and or
decided as a result of the meeting.

I received a call today letting me know there is still room in this dance workshop and we can get a discounted rate registering online Link

. I should have more detailed info, schedule, etc. in the next few days. They are just finalizing everything this week.
This workshop is open to all students age 9 and up. 8 year olds will be excepted on a individual basis please contact Laurie for 8 year olds.
A general email will be sent out later to all Studio students but I wanted to get this to the Team first.

Oct 13 - LTSOD Comp Team meeting minutes

- Nov 21 orders are due
- Dec 6 delivery is being made to Steph's house. We will need to make arrangements to pick our order up from her ON THIS DAY
preferably so that she isn't left holding items in her freezer. Merci!

Competition Dates
- The dates as of tonight's meeting are as follows;
Feb 25/26 - Milton
April 13/14 - Niagara => Kevin is looking into alternate hotels trying to find cheaper rates
May 25/26 - London

Recital
- May 19th Imperial Theatre

Workshop
- Nov 5/6 Please see Kevin's email regarding how to register. Cost is for both days. As far as I know, we should be packing the girls'
lunches, water etc.
- $20 fee for parent to watch
- We should register ASAP to get a spot

Website
- Look under Comp Team, down on the left hand side WHERE DREAMS BEGIN => Kevin will be putting all emails pertaining to the
competitive team on here. If we are missing info, or having problems with personal email...the website is a good place to check for
up-to-date information.

Vendor Day
Vendors are Scentsy, Enjo, Tupperware, Stampin Up, Regal, Avon, Epicure
Goody table - please bring lots!! These were good $$ makers last year. Also please try to keep snacks peanut free if possible. (items
already being brought => banana bread, cookie dough muffins, fudge, candy apples, candy kabobs, cookies)
Kevin will handle the advertising on the sign in front of the studio.
Kevin will also look into advertising on the radio.
Joanne will handle a jelly bean jar fundraiser - guess the number game
Agreement seemed to be reached to charge vendors $10 to participate

Dance (for adults)
Tentative date Feb 11th
Christine will touch base with the Camlachie Community Centre and the Camlachie Golf Club. It was discussed having a private party,
but there are liability risks, licensing issues etc to consider. Steph will also look for a venue in Sarnia.
We would like to charge admission, then also charge for the drinks. Kevin can supply a bartender? Also discussed the possibility of
having designated drivers.
Estimate is 150 - 200 people

Reminder: In the last meeting, it was determined that funds will be split according to your own participation.

Just a note: these are the final Dates and places barring any issue on the competitions end.
All 3 have been changed from the original date and/or locations

February 25-26 in Milton (Changed date and location)
April 13-15 Niagara Falls ( Changed Date and Location) we will now be downtown in the main tourist area. I am looking into hotels
May 25-27 London (changed Location)

Hotel and other details will be sent out as soon as they are available.

So going to have a quick meeting on Monday, November 7th at Tim Horton’s in Brights Grove at 5:30 to finalize any last minute details prior
to the vendor day....If you can not make the meeting please send me an email whether or not you will be able to help the day of and what
you will be contributing to the bake table.....
